What we collect
When you create an account we store your email address (used for sign-in and reminders you opt into) and, if you choose, a display name and avatar.
To run the farm calendar we store the farm information you enter: name, location, coordinates, beds, seed inventory, planned tasks, harvest and livestock events, and field-log notes.
We do not collect or sell your location, contacts or any identifiers for advertising purposes.
What stays on your device
Some working data — draft field notes, notification preferences, dismissed hints and view settings — is stored locally in your browser and never sent to us.
Weather & location
Weather forecasts are fetched from the open, non-tracking Open-Meteo service using the coordinates you enter. Your identity is not sent with the request.
Where your data is stored
Account data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure provided by Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase, hosted in the EU). All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
Sharing
We do not share your farm data with third parties. Your beds, notes and harvests are visible only to you.
Your rights (GDPR)
From the Profile page you can:
- Export your data (CSV) from the calendar page.
- Delete individual notes, beds, tasks and harvests.
- Sign out at any time.
To fully delete your account, write to hello@biodynamicfarmers.app and we will action it within 30 days.
Changes
If we materially change this policy we will update the "last updated" date and notify signed-in users in the app.
